I have so many stories to tell about this painting!! It's the first post of many on this work...My life turned to 13 the second I coated it. 24 in x 36 in. 98% glazed with the TheorumSyrum. An all natural substance with a sweet cinnamon scent. // the painting represents the multiple layers to reality. At a far, all you can perceive is a spiral. The objects we see on the plane we live out our day to day life on.  As you get closer to the source you Can begin to perceive the geometry that architects the reality we see. //The main point of inspiration for this painting was how the light works. Without it we wouldn't live the lives we do. Depending on the time of day, the painting refracts different opacities of color. The most influential time is during the golden minutes (usually 10-15) of the sunrise and sunset. The painting becomes opaque refracting a blue cloak over the geometry freezing the spiral. (this is why all the gold line videos have a blue Tint color correction) // The other main point of inspiration came from my grandpa's funeral which kick started my love for geometry 4 years ago. A Native American schematic for the star of the gatekeeper. Shining light and way to each new day. Everyday we have the ability to spark change for our reality. Were given a cycle to plan our next days followed by the opportunity to manifest those visions. // [R]eleased at 3:13 on 3:13 1:13 after work to represent full circle and escaping chamber 1:13 2 years early.
